• •If the 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th houses are clear for the groom, they should be clear for the bride too.
• •If Rahu, Ketu, Saturn or Sun sit in the groom's 1/2/7/8, the bride should have the same planetary placement.
• •If Mars (Sevvai) sits in the groom's 2/7/8/12, the bride should have the same.
• •A shared favourable planetary period (dasa) running for more than a year for both is auspicious.
• •A benefic in 3/6/8/12 gives an adverse period; do not fix the marriage during the periods of malefics (Rahu–Ketu), Saturn, Sun or Mars.
